By Nadia Jastrjembskaia, Ph.D., CLIA certified Elite Cruise Counselor

You may have heard that Royal Caribbean as well as Norwegian Cruise Line has received approval to sail to Cuba.

There is no official announcement yet but I expect they will announce this officially today.

Yesterday, there were a lot of gossip that Royal has put cruise itineraries with Havana as port of call at midnight today.

We received a lot of calls from our clients with requests for those cruises.

I checked our Royal Caribbean booking engine at midnight – cruises were there!

So far, there only three departure dates available:

  • April 19, 2017 from Miami, Florida, 5 night-cruise
  • April 30, 2017 from Tampa, Florida, 7-night cruise
  • May 20, 2017 from Tampa, Florida, 5-night cruise
